John started in the transport industry in 1988 and then moved into driving instruction in 1992.

Lifestyle changes in 2006 have brought him to Gympie. In 2011 he resumed driver training with a local defensive driving facility. In 2013, John again started his own driving school. This has eventually led to the purchase of Gympie’s largest driving school in July 2017. John has always been passionate about teaching people to drive and enjoys teaching students of all ages and abilities. He is also a HC accredited driver trainer.
John has a nationally recognised Trainer and Assessor qualification. He is also a former Ambulance service driver trainer and is also able to perform Driver Medical Assessments.

Sheree started with Goldtown Driving School at the beginning of 2024 and has taken on her training with enormous enthusiasm.
With her attention to detail and her commitment to successful outcomes for her students, she has proven herself to be a great asset to our business. We are very fortunate to have her on our team. I'm sure her many students would agree.
